How to Use A Fingerprint Drug Screening Cartridge

Step 1: Prepare for Sample Collection

Start by removing the Fingerprint Drug Screening Cartridge from its individual foil pouch. Each Cartridge is compact, lightweight, and ready to use. No refrigeration or special storage required.

You don’t need a dedicated testing room or trained medical personnel. This flexibility makes the Cartridge ideal for on-site drug testing, random employee drug screening, or for-cause workplace drug testing.

Step 2: Collect the Fingerprint Sample

Using the sample application pad on the Cartridge, collect fingerprint sweat from all ten fingers. The process takes less than a minute and is completely non-invasive. No need for urine or saliva samples.

This method supports a more dignified approach to drug screening and aligns with modern workplace health and safety protocols.

Step 3: Secure the Sample

Once you’ve collected the fingerprint sample, slide the tamper-evident cover across the Cartridge. The cover locks into place, protecting the sample and ensuring chain-of-custody integrity.

This secure design helps employers meet compliance standards for workplace drug and alcohol testing programmes.

Step 4: analyse the Sample

Insert the sealed Cartridge into the Reader. The Reader analyses the sample and displays results in minutes. This rapid turnaround supports efficient decision-making in time-sensitive situations, such as post-incident or return-to-duty testing.

Step 5: Confirm Results if Needed

If you need to confirm a screening result, use the Fingerprint Collection Kit for Laboratory Analysis. This kit allows you to collect a second fingerprint sample for lab-based confirmation, without requiring a new appointment or invasive procedure.

We also provide consent forms to support transparent, legally compliant drug testing procedures.
